About the Opportunity

This prospect is for highly skilled STEM and scientific-domain experts to contribute to an AI training project focused on technical problem-solving, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and Python-based workflows.

In this role, you'll solve, review, and validate challenging problems within your area of expertise. Tasks may involve analyzing scientific or mathematical problems, developing rigorous solutions, using Python for calculations or simulations, and evaluating whether AI-generated answers are technically correct.

This is a coding-heavy role. Candidates should have experience using Python and coding agents as part of their technical workflow.

You are not expected to be an expert across every STEM discipline — deep expertise in at least one relevant scientific or quantitative field is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Solve complex scientific, mathematical, and technical problems within your area of expertise.
- Review AI-generated solutions for factual, mathematical, and scientific correctness.
- Identify incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, missing constraints, and technical mistakes.
- Develop transparent, rigorous, and reproducible reference solutions.
- Use Python for scientific computation, data analysis, simulations, and solution validation.
- Interpret equations, experimental results, datasets, technical diagrams, and scientific literature where relevant.
- Perform sanity checks and validate numerical or analytical results.




- Compare alternative solution approaches and determine whether conclusions are supported by the available evidence.
- Clearly explain technical reasoning, errors, and corrections.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in at least one relevant STEM or scientific domain.
- Practical proficiency with Python.
- Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving ability.
- Ability to reason carefully about assumptions, constraints, edge cases, and sources of error.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts and solutions clearly.
- Experience validating, reviewing, or troubleshooting technical work.
- Experience using coding agents with Python as part of your technical workflow.

Relevant Python Tools Experience may include NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, Jupyter, or domain-specific scientific libraries. No particular Python library is mandatory.

Expertise may come from academic research, industry, teaching, engineering, independent technical work,



or other demonstrated experience. A specific degree or number of years of experience is not strictly required when strong subject-matter expertise can be demonstrated.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with AI-assisted coding or coding agents.
- Background in scientific research, engineering, quantitative analysis, or technical problem-solving.
- Experience developing reproducible computational solutions or simulations.
- Familiarity with evaluating AI-generated technical or scientific content.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical findings in a clear and structured manner.

Compensation

- Competitive compensation of $80–$150/hour.
- Output-based compensation structure, with experts paid per completed task that meets project specifications.
- Time required per task may vary based on experience and workflow.
- Minimum submission requirements apply.
- Flexible contractor engagement of approximately 15 hours per week.

Work Schedule

- Flexible schedule — choose the hours and days you work.
- Weekend work is permitted if preferred.
- Experts should be prepared to contribute approximately 15 hours per week.
