Work with technical teams to take models from data preparation and experimentation into reliable production services, including on Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift AI where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare datasets, develop and evaluate machine learning models using Python and common ML libraries.
- Build reproducible training, validation and inference pipelines; track experiments and model versions.
- Package and deploy models as APIs or containerized services; support monitoring, performance and retraining.
- Collaborate with platform engineers on Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments, security, access and resource usage.
- Document model assumptions, results and deployment procedures; explain findings to customer and delivery teams.
- Explore appropriate generative AI use cases, retrieval workflows and responsible evaluation when a project requires them.
Performance measures: Model quality, reproducibility, production reliability, documentation and delivery milestones.
