Job Summary

Altrus.ai is looking for an experienced AI/ML Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, and cloud-based AI solutions.

The ideal candidate should have recent experience working on production-oriented AI/ML or LLM projects, with practical knowledge of LLM APIs, RAG architectures, vector databases, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using Python.
- Build and integrate applications using LLMs and LLM APIs.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Work with embeddings and vector databases for semantic search and knowledge retrieval.
- Develop effective prompts and evaluate LLM responses for quality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications through REST APIs.
- Build production-ready AI services using FastAPI or Flask.
- Deploy and manage AI/ML applications using Docker and AWS services.
- Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/ECR, and SageMaker.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
- Participate in model development, testing, optimization, deployment, and monitoring.




- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to develop scalable AI solutions.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in Python.
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development.
- Recent 1+ year of experience working on AI/ML or LLM-based projects.
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or open-source LLMs.
- Hands-on experience building RAG applications.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of embeddings and vector databases.
- Good knowledge of Prompt Engineering and LLM Evaluation.
- Experience developing production APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- Experience with Docker and cloud deployment.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/ECR, and SageMaker.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Good knowledge of Git, Linux, and Shell Scripting.
- Experience with one or more of PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face Transformers.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates with hands-on production experience in GenAI/LLM applications are preferred.
- Immediate Joiners are preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid model with 3 days in the Hyderabad office.

Interview Process : 2 Technical Rounds + Cultural Fit Round Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
