About the Role

Cognizant Consulting is seeking an experienced AI Consulting Architect to lead AI-led transformation initiatives for Banking & Financial Services clients. This role combines consulting, business transformation, process modelling, AI architecture, and hands-on AI engineering.

The ideal candidate should be able to engage with business stakeholders, model business processes, design AI-enabled solutions, build prototypes, and guide delivery teams through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business discovery, requirements gathering, and stakeholder workshops.
- Create BRDs, FSDs, user stories, process maps, and solution design artefacts.
- Design current-state and future-state business processes using BPMN.
- Define AI-powered business solutions using GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI.
- Develop PoCs, MVPs, and reusable AI accelerators.
- Build AI workflows, agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition solutions into production.





Must-Have Skills

- 8-12 years of Consulting, Business Transformation, Product Consulting, or Technology Consulting experience.
- Strong expertise in Process Modelling (BPMN) and Functional Solution Design.
- Hands-on experience in AI Engineering and Solution Architecture.

- Hands-on coding experience in Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and API integrations.

Preferred Experience

- Banking & Financial Services (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Wealth Management, Capital Markets).
- Candidates from Insurance, FinTech, or Digital Transformation Consulting backgrounds will also be considered.

Preferred Tools & Frameworks LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI.
