Position Overview
Rajhans Fertilizers Limited is looking for a motivated and target-oriented Agrochemical Sales Officer to manage sales and business development in Chandrala and nearby markets around Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The candidate will be responsible for developing the dealer and distributor network, achieving sales targets, promoting agricultural input products, conducting farmer meetings, and ensuring effective market coverage.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales and Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Promote and sell the company's agrochemical, fertilizer, and other agricultural input products.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in existing and untapped markets.
- Appoint recent dealers, retailers, and distributors to expand market reach.
- Improve product availability and market penetration across the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, product pricing, promotional schemes, and market trends.

Dealer and Distributor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, and other channel partners.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess sales, stock availability, and product demand.
- Generate orders and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely product dispatch.
- Monitor channel inventory and ensure the availability of fast-moving products.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure collections within approved credit terms.
- Communicate company schemes, product updates, and promotional activities to channel partners.
3. Farmer Engagement and Product Promotion
- Organize farmer meetings, crop meetings, field demonstrations, and product awareness programmes.
- Explain product features, approved applications, benefits, and precautions to farmers.
- Develop demand for company products through regular field-level promotional activities.
- Collect farmer feedback regarding product performance and market requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical team for product demonstrations and farmer education.
- Ensure that all product recommendations comply with approved labels, usage directions, and applicable regulations.
4. Market Development and Reporting
- Prepare daily field visit reports and periodic sales reports.
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales and market coverage plans.
- Maintain records of dealers, distributors, farmers, sales, collections, and market activities.
- Track primary sales and secondary sales wherever such data is available.
- Share competitor intelligence, pricing trends, and customer feedback with management.
- Submit regular tour plans, sales forecasts, and business updates.
5. Payment and Commercial Management
- Monitor dealer outstanding balances and follow up for timely collections.
- Adhere to company-approved credit limits, pricing, discounts, and promotional schemes.
- Coordinate with the accounts and dispatch teams for order processing and payment reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate sales and collection records.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- B.Sc. Agriculture is preferred.
- Candidates with a relevant graduate qualification and experience in agricultural input sales may also be considered.
- 1–2 years of experience in agrochemical, fertilizer, seeds, or related agricultural input sales.
- Familiarity with the dealer and distributor network in the Ahmedabad region or surrounding markets will be an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with farmers, dealers, retailers, and distributors.
- Basic knowledge of crop protection products, fertilizers, and agricultural practices.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel, email, and sales reporting.
- Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
