Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM – Purchase with 8+ years of core Purchase/Procurement experience, preferably from the Electrical Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have an Engineering background along with strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, negotiations, cost optimization, and material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete Purchase & Procurement function for the electrical manufacturing business.
- Manage procurement of electrical components, raw materials, bought-out items, and production materials.
- Develop and manage strategic suppliers and alternate sources.
- Handle vendor development, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and commercial conditions.
- Drive cost reduction and procurement optimization initiatives.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.
- Monitor POs,



delivery schedules, shortages, pending orders, and supplier commitments.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Engineering, Quality, Stores, Finance, and Management.
- Analyze market trends and material prices and identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
- Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
- Lead and mentor the Purchase team and ensure achievement of procurement KPIs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of core Purchase/Procurement experience in an electrical/electronic manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components, raw materials, and manufacturing procurement.
- Excellent experience in vendor development, strategic sourcing, negotiation, and cost reduction.
- Valuable knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and vendor-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Candidates with strong technical understanding and hands-on manufacturing procurement experience will be preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
