Job SummaryCGI is looking for a skilled AEM Frontend Developer with 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AEM component development and modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, along with experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences.

The candidate will work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality AEM-based web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance AEM-based websites and digital experiences.
- Develop reusable and scalable frontend components following AEM best practices.
- Build responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser compatible web applications.
- Integrate frontend components with AEM Templates, Editable Templates, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Develop and customize AEM Core Components and Client Libraries (Clientlibs).
- Work with HTL (Sightly) for AEM component development.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to convert designs into pixel-perfect frontend implementations.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Develop and support AEM Headless implementations where required.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
- Optimize applications for performance, SEO, page-load speed, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD, build, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend and AEM-related production issues.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall frontend development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on AEM development experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
