Following the successful opening of the Mumbai campus and receipt of regulatory approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC), the University is preparing to welcome its first student cohort in the academic year 2026/27. The campus will initially offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Computer Science (with AI and Cybersecurity), Business & Finance and Creative Industries, alongside research that addresses the needs of Mumbai, India and the wider global community.

Role: Admissions Coordinator (2 Positions)

Location: Mumbai (On-site)

Reports To: Admissions Manager

Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers welcome / 1–2 years in education operations or sales preferred)

About the Role-

Join the University of York Mumbai team! We are seeking two energetic and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinators. In this role, you will take over the student journey post-application, guiding applicants seamlessly through evaluation, documentation, and final enrolment.

Key Responsibilities-

- Application Evaluation: Review submitted applications for eligibility, completeness, and alignment with university criteria.




- Document Verification: Verify academic transcripts, identity proofs, and supporting documents submitted by students.
- Applicant Coordination: Directly contact applicants via phone and email to collect missing documents and resolve application queries.
- Offer Management: Coordinate with the Admissions Manager to issue offer letters and follow up on registration/tuition fee payments.
- Data Tracking: Maintain accurate applicant status tracking within the university CRM system.
- University Promotion: Shall be travelling locally and regionally to promote the university at school career fairs and educational events.

What We Are Looking For-

- Education: Recent university graduate in any discipline. Masters preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years. Prior experience in university admissions, EdTech operations, or sales is a plus.
- Skills: High attention to detail, strong communication skills, confidence to travel/network, and basic MS Office (Excel) proficiency.
