Role Description The Admission Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based at Rainbow School in Nellore. This role involves guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, explaining academic programs, and providing campus and facilities information.

The Admission

Counsellor will conduct school tours, counsel guardians and students on suitability and fit, and support applicants with forms, documentation, and timelines. The role includes maintaining accurate admission records, coordinating with academic and administrative teams, and participating in outreach activities such as open houses,



school fairs, and community events.

Counsellor will also help implement admission strategies, follow up with leads, and ensure a welcoming, professional experience for all visitors.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide a courteous, responsive, and supportive experience throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage inquiries, follow up with prospective families, and support enrollment targets in an ethical and student-centered manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding or experience, preferably in school admissions, student counselling, or academic administration.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Psychology, Business, or a related field are preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple inquiries and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and data entry; experience with CRM or school management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a professional, inclusive, and student-focused approach.
