Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Assistant role based in Mumbai, with a joining requirement within 7 days and a salary range of 15,000–25,000 INR per month.

The Accounts

Assistant will support day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting in preparation of financial statements and reports. The role will handle petty cash management, invoice processing, payment tracking, and basic reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate records.

Responsibilities also include supporting credit control activities, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and responding to account-related queries. The role requires consistent documentation,



timely follow-up on outstanding payments, and adherence to company policies and financial controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess accounting and finance skills, including basic knowledge of bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and financial documentation.
- Candidates should possess credit control skills, with the ability to monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients or partners in a professional manner.
- Candidates should possess petty cash handling skills, including accurate record-keeping, reconciliation, and adherence to cash management procedures.
- Candidates should possess robust communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance are preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work under time constraints are important.
- Prior experience in an accounts or finance support role, particularly in logistics or related industries, is an added advantage.
