Job Summary

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the global statutory reporting process by maintaining statutory reporting systems, safeguarding data integrity, and driving operational excellence across multiple regions. You will collaborate closely with Entity Accounting Leaders, Financial and Statutory Accounting teams, Tax, auditors, consultants, and external vendors to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of statutory financial statements, primarily under IFRS and IFRS-based reporting frameworks.

As a member of the Global Statutory Governance Team, you will be responsible for administering Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE (or equivalent statutory reporting platforms), supporting system governance, enabling reporting efficiency through automation, and delivering insightful reporting and analytics. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while supporting a diverse global stakeholder network.

Responsibilities

- Administer and support Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE (or similar statutory reporting platforms) used for the preparation of over 90 annual statutory financial statements across EMEAI, while providing support to APAC and LAA regions.
- Lead annual reporting cycle readiness activities, including template roll-forwards, content updates, trial balance uploads, and system maintenance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors and internal stakeholders for system upgrades, migrations, issue resolution, and governance-related initiatives.
- Partner with Financial Statutory Accounting, Tax, auditors, consultants, and technical support teams to resolve reporting, disclosure, XBRL, XML, and compliance-related matters.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, Power BI reports, statutory reporting metrics, and leadership reporting solutions to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by automating reporting processes, maintaining reporting tools and databases, managing statutory document repositories,



and ensuring the integrity and governance of statutory reporting data.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, or financial compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, Ind AS, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and managing financial reporting processes across multiple jurisdictions is preferred.

Your Skills

- Strong expertise in financial accounting, statutory reporting, and financial statement preparation under IFRS and Ind AS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and data management capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.

Additional Notes

- This role supports a global statutory reporting environment and requires regular collaboration with international finance, tax, audit, and governance teams.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE or similar statutory reporting tools is highly desirable.
- The position involves supporting and maintaining a centralized repository containing more than 130 annual financial reports.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment with a strong focus on compliance, data quality, governance, and process standardization.
- Knowledge of reporting automation, VBA, database management, and digital reporting solutions will be considered an advantage.
