About the role

We are looking for an Accountant with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Tally to manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, MIS and monthly financial statements. This is a full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad with immediate joining.

Salary: ₹3–3.5 lakh per annum

Key responsibilities

- Record sales and purchase invoices in Tally with correct ledgers, GST rates and HSN/SAC codes
- Maintain the cash book and petty cash, and post payment, receipt, contra and journal vouchers daily
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS) weekly and at month-end
- Reconcile debtor and creditor ledgers and share ageing reports
- Prepare GST and TDS working, and reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase books
- Coordinate with the external CA for returns, audits and queries
- Prepare monthly MIS reports: sales, purchases, receivables, payables, cash and bank position, and expense analysis
- Prepare monthly financial statements: Trial Balance, P&L; and Balance Sheet
- Pass month-end entries: accruals, prepaid expenses,



provisions and depreciation
- Maintain supporting documents and clean Tally masters

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter, CMA Inter or MBA Finance is a plus)
- 2–5 years of end-to-end accounting experience
- Robust command of Tally Prime / ERP 9: vouchers, GST, BRS, bill-wise details and financial reports
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS rules and due dates
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIFS)
- Clear communication in English and Hindi; Telugu preferred

Good to have

- Experience handling accounts for multiple companies
- Exposure to inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
- Familiarity with the GST portal, TRACES and the Income Tax portal
