RNG Group is a Kanpur-based group with businesses across several sectors, looking for an Accountant to join the finance team at its head office in Kanpur on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation and statutory compliance, along with good communication and client-handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
● Handle accounting and financial reporting assignments.
● Manage income tax, GST and other statutory compliance work.
● Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
● Handle tax computations, returns and related documentation.
● Assist with audits and ensure timely completion of assignments.
● Review books of accounts and identify discrepancies.
● Handle client queries and coordinate with clients for required information and documents.
● Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
● Support the firm's ongoing accounting, audit and taxation assignments.
● Coordinate with team members and ensure assignments are completed within deadlines.
Candidate Profile
● CA Inter, or any relevant qualification in accounting.
● Robust knowledge of accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
● Good working knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel and other accounting software.
● Good understanding of GST and Income Tax.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication.
● Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
● Professional, responsible and detail-oriented.
● Prior experience in an accounting firm will be an advantage.
Experience
CA Inter as well as experienced candidates may apply.
Candidates with prior experience in audit, taxation, GST, accounting or client servicing will be preferred.
