Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, recording financial transactions, and maintaining accurate ledgers and books of accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices and billing statements, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, supporting monthly and annual closing, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting. The role involves ensuring compliance with GST, direct and indirect taxes, EPF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements,



as well as coordinating with auditors and supporting internal and external audits. The Accountant will work closely with clients and internal teams to provide timely financial information and support decision-making.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Shimla.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
- Experience with taxation and compliance, including GST, direct and indirect taxes, EPF, ESIC, and statutory filings.
- Proficiency in accounting software and technology-driven systems; familiarity with RDP-based accounting platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare financial reports, assist with budgeting, and support financial planning and costing activities.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to reconcile accounts accurately and on time.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience in handling accounts for diverse industries such as hospitality, retail, distribution, services, and manufacturing is beneficial.
