Accountant – Tally

Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with good knowledge of Tally to manage day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, recording transactions, preparing reports, and supporting overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices and bills.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with GST and other tax-related accounting work.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements
- Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.




- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous accounting experience is preferred.

Qualification
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers with Tally certification and basic accounting knowledge can also apply.
- Mandatory Requirement

Tally certification is mandatory.

- Candidates must have a valid Tally / Tally Prime certificate.
- Practical knowledge of Tally and basic accounting is required.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and ledger reconciliation is preferred.
