About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant (CPA/CA) to join our client's dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, making it ideal for professionals seeking a balanced work-life environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of the organization and contributing to its growth and success.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a CPA or CA certification with at least three years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and international accounting standards is essential. Proficiency in financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as QuickBooks or Xero is required.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication skills are necessary to present financial data clearly to stakeholders who may not have a financial background. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are highly valued.





Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role include preparing and examining financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. The accountant will maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including managing accounts payable and receivable. Preparing and filing tax returns in accordance with local and federal regulations is a critical task.

Conducting internal audits and risk assessments to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement will also be part of the role. Additionally, the accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insights that influence strategic decisions. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of financial data are paramount in this position.
