Role Description The Accountant role at Spix's Media is a full time, on-site position based in Nashik. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring budgets, managing invoices, and ensuring accurate recording of business transactions. The role also involves assisting with tax preparation and compliance, maintaining financial records in accordance with accounting standards,



and providing financial insights to support management decisions. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to ensure cost control, timely payments, and clear financial reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools) and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and budgeting tasks.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit support processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a corporate or agency environment is preferred, especially in media or digital marketing sectors.
