Position: Accountant – Project/Site Accounting

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with relevant experience in Transmission Line, Substation, or Power Projects. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to site/project accounting and be capable of independently managing day-to-day accounting activities at a project site.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day site and project accounting activities.
- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, journal entries, and other accounting records.
- Handle vendor bills, invoices, payments, and expense booking.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory accounting requirements.
- Maintain project-wise expenses and financial records.
- Coordinate with project and site teams for bills, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Prepare project-wise MIS reports and financial statements.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.




- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial documents.
- Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Candidate Requirements

- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Previous experience in Transmission Line, Substation, or Power Projects is required.
- Strong experience in Site Accounting / Project Accounting.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, billing, and reconciliation.
- Experience independently handling accounting activities at a project/site location.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work at Lawspet, Puducherry.
