We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Tax Associate with hands-on experience in US or UK outsourced accounting, bookkeeping and/or tax filing services.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with international clients and be comfortable handling accounting and taxation processes independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle US/UK outsourced accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Assist in US/UK tax preparation and tax filing assignments.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, reconciliations and financial reports.
- Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger activities.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation and review of financial statements.
- Coordinate with overseas clients for accounting and tax-related requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Work on accounting software and Excel for reporting and analysis.
Candidate Profile
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in US/UK outsourced accounting, bookkeeping or tax services.
- Prior experience with US/UK clients is required.
- Exposure to US/UK tax preparation or tax filing will be highly preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Knowledge of US GAAP / UK accounting practices will be an advantage.
- Robust knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, Zoho Books or similar accounting software will be an advantage.
- Good communication and client coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / ACCA / CA Inter / equivalent qualification
Location Preference
Candidates residing on or near the Mumbai Central Line will be preferred.
Candidates with relevant US/UK outsourced accounting or taxation experience are encouraged to apply.
