We are looking for a skilled Construction Accountant to manage project accounting, job costing, and financial reporting across our active job sites. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, general contractors, and executives to track project budgets, manage subcontractor billings, and monitor cash flows. The ideal candidate understands construction-specific accounting rules, progress billing, and lien waiver administration.

Key Responsibilities

- Job Costing &
- Budgeting:

Set up current projects in the accounting system, monitor job cost ledgers, and track budget variances against estimate vs. actual costs.

- Progress Billing &

- Invoicing:

Prepare and submit monthly AIA billing (G702/G703) or work-in-progress (WIP) schedules to clients and project owners.

- Subcontractor Management: Review subcontractor pay applications, track retainage, and ensure proper lien waivers, insurance certificates (COIs),



and tax documentation are collected before payment releases.

- WIP &

- Revenue Recognition:

Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, applying percentage-of-completion accounting rules to recognize over/under billings

Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Construction Management with an accounting emphasis.

- Experience: 1–2 years of dedicated accounting experience in commercial, residential, or heavy civil construction.

- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with construction accounting.

- Skills: Excellent analytical capabilities, strong Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, formulas), and the ability to communicate financial data clearly to field managers

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
