Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Khurda. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining accurate books of accounts, posting journal entries, and reconciling bank statements and ledgers.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll calculations as needed. The role involves preparing periodic financial reports, supporting budgeting and cost control for manufacturing activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards,



tax regulations, and statutory requirements. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, respond to finance-related queries, support audits, and contribute to improving financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and invoice processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
- Understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, procurement, and management teams.
- Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or apparel industry accounting is an advantage.
- Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment in Khurda.
