Role & responsibilities

Handle end-to-end accounts and financial activities for the company

Set up and maintain accounting systems, processes and documentation from scratch

Take responsibility for monthly accounts closing

Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet and basic MIS reports

Perform Customer, Vendor & Bank Reconciliation

Conduct stock audit and reconciliation (physical vs. book/system stock) and flag discrepancies

Record and review sales, purchase, expense and journal entries

Track customer outstanding, vendor payables and ageing

Ensure month-end provisions, accruals and adjustments are accounted for correctly

Coordinate with vendors, auditors, consultants and management as needed

Handle Tally / ERP and Advanced Excel

Support statutory compliance GST, TDS, tax audit, and other filings, working with external CA/consultants where required





Take initiative in improving financial controls and reporting as the business scales

Preferred candidate profile

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred

Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant accounting experience

Comfortable working independently in a startup environment with minimal supervision

Experience in monthly accounts closing, reconciliation and stock audit

Working knowledge of Excel and Tally / ERP

Startup mindset willing to take ownership beyond a narrow , especially in the early stages

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Prior experience in a small/early-stage company or FMCG-adjacent business is a plus
