About the Role

CPR Chicken Traders LLP is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and maintain the company's day-to-day financial records.

The role involves handling accounts related to chicken purchases, deliveries to shops, collections, supplier payments, expenses, cash, bank transactions, UPI/GPay transactions and individual shop accounts.

The accountant will be responsible for ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and that cash, bank, collections and shop accounts are regularly reconciled.

Key Responsibilities

- Record daily chicken purchases and supplier invoices.
- Record deliveries made to each shop/outlet.
- Maintain individual shop accounts and ledgers.
- Record daily cash and UPI/GPay collections from shops.
- Record payments made to suppliers and other parties.
- Record vehicle, shop, office, and other business expenses.
- Maintain cash book and bank transaction records.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash, UPI/GPay and collection records.
- Reconcile purchases, deliveries, sales/collections and payments.
- Verify records submitted by collection staff and shop staff.
- Track supplier outstanding balances and payments.
- Track amounts receivable from shops/other parties.
- Check for differences, missing entries or unexplained transactions and report them to management.
- Maintain purchase invoices, payment vouchers and supporting documents in an organised manner.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounting summaries for management.
- Assist the CA/auditor by providing properly maintained accounting records and required documents.




- Enter and maintain accounts using Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Support the company in moving from manual books to a more organised digital accounting system.

Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Preferably 1–3+ years of practical accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of purchase, sales, cash, bank, payable and receivable accounting.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Ability to identify accounting discrepancies and reconcile records.
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience in any of the following will be preferred:

Wholesale / Distribution / Retail / FMCG / Poultry / Food Distribution / Multi-branch businesses

Experience dealing with high volumes of daily cash, UPI transactions, supplier payments and collections will be an advantage.

Salary ₹20,000–₹25,000 per month

Final salary will depend on accounting knowledge, experience, Tally/Excel skills, and performance in the practical interview.

A probation period may apply before final confirmation.
