Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and compliance activities. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, and writing) and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, UAE regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial transactions.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

- Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.

- Support audit processes by providing required documentation and schedules.

- Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost allocation.

- Prepare payroll-related accounting entries where required.

- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding financial matters.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

RequirementsEducation

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience





- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

- Experience in audit firms or skilled services firms is preferred.

Language Requirements (Mandatory)

- Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.

- Must be able to Speak, Read, and Write Arabic proficiently.

- Ability to prepare and review financial documents and correspondence in Arabic and English.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- CMA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.

- Experience in UAE Corporate Tax compliance and financial advisory services.

- Experience handling multilingual client communications.
