Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, as well as preparing financial reports and statements for management review.



The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support audits, and help streamline accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and invoice processing.
- Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls relevant to pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or manufacturing company is preferred.
