Role Description The Senior Accountant role at PaisaMart is a full-time, in office position based in Faridabad. In this role will handle day-to-day account management, including reviewing and updating customer loan records, verifying financial information, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, assessing loan eligibility, monitoring repayments, and preparing basic financial reports.

The Account

Officer will also provide customer service support, respond to borrower queries, and communicate loan terms clearly and professionally. Collaboration with the finance and operations teams to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines is an integral part of this role.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial data interpretation to support management decisions.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards,



tax regulations, and compliance requirements, preferably within financial services.
- Advanced skills in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support audits and regulatory reviews.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive improvements in accounting processes and controls.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.

Several years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility at a senior or lead level.
