ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to lead and manage the complete accounting function of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and timely closure of accounts, while supporting management with reliable financial data for decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end / year-end closing.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS, and management reports.

Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, returns filing, and reconciliations.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and outstanding follow-ups.

Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and fund planning.

Prepare budgets and forecasts, and analyse variances against actuals.

Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and ensure timely closure of audit queries.

Monitor costing, inventory valuation, and fixed asset accounting in coordination with Purchase, Stores, and Production.





Ensure accuracy of payroll-related accounting and coordinate with HR for inputs.

Maintain strong internal controls and improve accounting processes and ERP usage.

Guide, train, and review the work of the accounts team.

Support management with financial analysis, cost-control initiatives, and ad-hoc reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Robust knowledge of accounting principles, Indian GAAP / Ind AS, and the Companies Act.

Hands-on expertise in GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.

Experience in finalization of accounts, MIS, and audit coordination.

Good understanding of costing and inventory accounting in a manufacturing setup.

Proficiency in Tally / ERP (SAP, Tally Prime, or similar) and advanced MS Excel.

Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication, team-handling, and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

6+ years of relevant experience in Accounts, with team-handling exposure.

Graduate / Post-graduate in Commerce; MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or ICWA is an added advantage.

Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.

Strong working knowledge of statutory compliance and audits.

Immediate joiners preferred.

Comfortable working from Pune.
