Accountant – Tanjore Foods Pvt. Ltd.Tanjore Foods Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial records. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, documentation, and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, payment records, and receipts.
- Handle purchase and sales entries.
- Maintain bank transactions and assist with bank reconciliation.
- Maintain proper records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and organize accounting documents and records.
- Handle and maintain GST-related records and documentation.
- Assist with GST returns, reconciliations, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors and support statutory compliance activities.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up when required.
- Assist management with accounting-related reports and information.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA – Finance / CA (Inter) or related qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Valuable knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial documentation.
- Working knowledge of GST and GST compliance is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Female candidate preferred.
- Candidates with prior experience working in Chartered Accountant (CA) / Audit Firms will be given preference.
- Candidates with practical knowledge of GST, GST returns, GST reconciliation, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation are preferred.
- Experience in handling accounting and statutory compliance documentation will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime or other accounting software is preferred.
- Freshers with solid accounting fundamentals and basic GST knowledge are also welcome to apply.
