About the Role

We are looking for an Academic Script Writer who can research educational and competitive-exam topics and turn complex information into creative, engaging, and easy-to-understand scripts for videos and social media content. The ideal candidate should have strong research skills, understand student pain points, and be able to write scripts that are informative, natural, engaging, and relevant to the target exam or audience.

Responsibilities

- Research competitive exams, notifications, exam patterns, vacancies, and student preparation needs using reliable sources.
- Understand student pain points, preparation challenges, and content needs to create relevant scripts.
- Coordinate with faculty and academic teams to understand subjects, exam requirements, and key academic information.
- Understand the product, its features, USPs, and target audience to create relevant and effective content.
- Turn research and product understanding into creative, engaging, and student-friendly scripts for reels, ads, explainers, testimonials, and educational videos.
- Create strong hooks and develop scripts around student problems, exam requirements, and relevant study solutions.
- Write in simple, conversational Hindi, English,



and Hinglish while adapting scripts to different video formats.
- Proofread and fact-check all content before submission to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and error-free scripts.
- Work with the content and marketing teams to develop new content ideas and improve scripts based on feedback and performance.

Requirements

- Prior experience in EdTech, competitive-exam content, Journalism, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or Content Writing is preferred
- Familiarity with exams such as UPSC, SSC, Banking, State PSCs, Teaching, Railway, Defence, etc.
- Solid research, fact-checking, creative writing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to simplify complex academic information into clear and engaging content.
- Understanding of short-form video content, hooks, social media, and performance-based ads.
- Excellent Hindi and English writing skills; good command of Hinglish.
- Ability to manage multiple scripts, meet deadlines, and work with attention to detail.
- Preparing for or having prepared for any competitive exam will be an added advantage
- Understanding of what makes educational content engaging for students.
