Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Academic and Research Faculty position in the Department of Computer Science Engineering, based at the Chennai campus. The faculty member will design and deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, including preparing lesson plans, lectures, laboratory sessions, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.

Responsibilities include guiding student projects, mentoring learners, supervising research work, and contributing to departmental academic initiatives. The role involves conducting and publishing research in relevant Computer Science Engineering domains, seeking funded projects, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.



The faculty member will participate in academic administration, accreditation-related activities, curriculum development, and academic events, while maintaining high standards of professional ethics and classroom engagement.

Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a closely related discipline (Master’s required; Ph.D. preferred).
- Strong foundation in core Computer Science topics such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, computer networks, and software engineering.
- Demonstrated research aptitude, including experience with publishing in peer-reviewed journals or conferences and participating in funded projects or research collaborations.
- Effective teaching skills, including course planning, classroom delivery, student evaluation, and the use of contemporary instructional tools and learning management systems.
- Ability to guide student projects, mentor learners, and support co-curricular and extracurricular academic activities.
- Proficiency with relevant programming languages, development tools, and emerging technologies in Computer Science Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse academic environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, ethical academic practices, and contribution to departmental and institutional growth.
