Role Description The Academic Advisor role at Shiksolve Education LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Academic

Advisor will provide one-on-one counseling to working professionals, helping them identify suitable academic programs, certifications, and skill-development pathways that support their career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting structured advising sessions, assessing individual needs and aspirations, recommending appropriate education and training options, and maintaining accurate records of advising interactions.



The role also involves collaborating with the counseling and program teams, contributing to resource materials and guidance tools, and following up with advisees to track progress and outcomes.

The Academic

Advisor is expected to deliver clear, supportive guidance and uphold a professional, client-centered approach in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide effective student counseling and career counseling, with a focus on working professionals.
- Strong academic advising and education-related guidance skills, including understanding of programs, certifications, and learning pathways.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to explain options clearly and listen actively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and professionalism in handling diverse backgrounds and career stages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling are an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic advising, career counseling, or education services is preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Gurugram, manage multiple advising cases, and use digital tools for scheduling and documentation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a commitment to supporting learner success and ethical practice.
