Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Academic Counsellor (EdTech) at Prime Path Learning.

The Academic

Counsellor will engage with prospective students and working professionals via calls, video meetings, emails, and messaging tools to understand their academic background, career goals, and preferences. The role involves providing structured career counseling and academic advising, guiding learners on suitable programs and universities, and explaining admissions criteria, curriculum, fees, and timelines.

Counsellor will support applicants throughout the admission process, including application preparation, documentation follow-up,



and coordination with partner institutions. The role also includes maintaining accurate learner records, meeting counseling and conversion targets, and collaborating with internal teams to improve student engagement and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong student counseling and academic advising skills, with the ability to understand individual needs and recommend suitable education pathways.
- Career counseling and education domain knowledge, especially in higher education programs such as MBA, BBA, B.Com, PGDM, and related fields.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with diverse learners.
- Comfort using digital tools and EdTech platforms for remote counseling, documentation, and tracking learner progress.
- Relevant academic background in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related field; prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student advisory is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple learner cases and meet performance targets.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
