- Design develop test and support ETL workflows using Ab Initio GDE graphs and transforms for large scale data processing
- Implement data extraction transformation and loading logic from multiple source systems into target data stores DW marts
- Work with Ab Initio EME Enterprise MetaEnvironment for metadata management version control and deployment
- Develop reusable components such as transforms XFRs DMLs parameter files and reference data structures
- Perform data validation reconciliation error handling and performance tuning of ETL jobs
- Collaborate with business analysts and data modelers to understand requirements and convert them into scalable ETL designs
- Support production ETL jobs troubleshoot issues and ensure adherence to SLAs
- Follow coding standards naming conventions and data governance guidelines
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation ETL design documents mappings and operational runbooks 26 years of hands on experience in Ab Initio ETL development
- Solid expertise in Ab Initio GDE graph development transforms and Unix shell scripting
- Working knowledge of Ab Initio EME for metadata versioning and collaboration
- Good understanding of ETL concepts data warehousing and data integration patterns
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience handling large data volumes and performance sensitive ETL jobs
