Position: Java Tech Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and

delivery of scalable and high-quality software applications. The candidate will be responsible

for providing technical leadership to the development team, driving best practices, and

ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers and provide technical guidance.

• Design, develop, and review scalable and maintainable Java applications.

• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.

• Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, Business, and other teams to understand requirements

and deliver solutions.

• Take ownership of technical deliverables and ensure timely completion.

• Identify opportunities for performance improvement, automation, and process

enhancement.

• Conduct technical discussions and support the team in resolving development

challenges.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend suitable technical





improvements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java and J2EE.

• Strong knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.

• Positive understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design principles.

• Experience with Git/version control systems.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Good communication and team leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms.

• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.• Exposure to CI/CD and Dev Ops practices.

• Experience in Fin Tech / Payment Gateway / Financial Services domain will be an

added advantage.

Experience

6–10 years of relevant experience in Java development, with experience in a technical

leadership role.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
