Job Title: Electrical Design (Utility Infrastructure Projects)

Required Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Full Time & Regular)

Job Responsibilities:

.Plan, execute and monitor HT/LT electrical infrastructure projects for automobile manufacturing facilities.

.Manage installation, testing and commissioning of 220 kV GIS/AIS substations and associated transmission systems.

.Execute projects involving power transformers, switchyards, GIS, RMUs, VCBs and distribution systems.

.Review SLDs, electrical drawings, cable schedules, BOQs and technical specifications.

.Manage design review and implementation of HT/LT electrical distribution networks.

.Supervise installation and commissioning of:

.220 kV Switchyard/GIS

.132 kV/66 kV/33 kV Substations

.Power Transformers

.HT Panels and LT Panels

.PCC, MCC and APFC Panels

.Bus Duct Systems

.DG Sets

.UPS Systems

.Lighting Systems

.Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems

.Ensure uninterrupted power supply to production facilities.

.Manage preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical utility systems.

.Monitor transformer loading, power quality, reliability and system performance.

.Conduct switching operations and shutdown planning in coordination with electrical utilities.

.Ensure statutory compliance with electrical inspectorate, CEA regulations and safety standards.

.Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, consultants and utility agencies.

.Support energy management initiatives and electrical cost optimization projects.

.Conduct energy audits and implement power-saving measures.

.Prepare project schedules, progress reports and maintenance documentation.

.Develop SOPs, permit systems and emergency restoration procedures.

.Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and outages.

.Support production teams through reliable electrical utility operations.

Other Considerations:

.Experience in Greenfield Automobile Manufacturing Plants is highly preferred.

.Prior experience in utility systems supporting paint shops, body shops, assembly lines, warehouses and testing facilities will be an added advantage.

.Hands-on experience with 220 kV Grid Connectivity, Grid Substations, Power Transformers and Distribution Systems is mandatory.

.Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Smart Energy Monitoring and Digital Substations is desirable.

.Robust understanding of electrical safety practices including LOTO, PTW and Arc Flash Risk Assessment is required.

.Candidate should possess strong project management, stakeholder management and troubleshooting skills.

Experience in managing annual outages, shutdown planning and utility reliability programs will be preferred.
