About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Python) to join our engineering team and work on backend services, APIs, automation, and integration solutions for a large-scale enterprise analytics platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python backend development, REST APIs, automation, and AWS services , with the ability to build scalable solutions and support production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services and applications .
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend components.
- Build and maintain automation workflows and enterprise integration solutions.
- Own and enhance automated email/notification workflows and related backend processes.
- Develop scheduled and event-driven workflows using Apache Airflow and other automation tools.
- Work with AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, and S3 .
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely fixes and enhancements.
- Optimize backend services for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, frontend developers, and other technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.




- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and backend application development.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs .
- Experience building automation and integration solutions .
- Good understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development .
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SQS, and S3 .
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications .
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work on-site from Mumbai .

Valuable to Have
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise analytics platforms .
- Exposure to Oil & Gas or other enterprise domains .
- Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Dev Ops, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with automated notification or email delivery systems.
