Role Description The Information Technology Project Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure projects, including passive cabling, network systems, and related hardware and software solutions. Day-to-day activities include coordinating project timelines, liaising with internal teams and external vendors, configuring and testing systems, and ensuring smooth deployment and handover. The Project Engineer will diagnose and resolve technical issues, provide on-site technical support, and contribute to documentation and standard operating procedures.



The role also involves monitoring network performance, maintaining security controls, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with client requirements.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Information Technology knowledge, including IT infrastructure and systems integration.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent system and network issues.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills to implement and maintain secure configurations, access controls, and risk mitigation measures.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with cabling standards, network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls), and enterprise IT environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, ITIL, or PMP are an advantage.
