KPMG India - Government Advisory (Water Team) is looking for a seasoned Remote Sensing & GIS Expert to join a prestigious ongoing government engagement in Chhattisgarh.
What We're Looking For -
M.Sc./M.Tech in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Geosciences, Geology, or related disciplines
15+ years of experience in Remote Sensing & GIS applications for resource mapping and geospatial data integration
Proven expertise in integrating global satellite-derived datasets for:
Rainfall & precipitation analysis; Land Use/Land Cover mapping; Groundwater assessment; Flood and inundation mapping; Hydrological modelling; Watershed assessment; Water resources planning
Solid hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS
Experience in at least 3 flood inundation mapping projects during the last 3 years
Experience in government-sector projects will be highly preferred
Location: Chhattisgarh
