Role: Robotics & Control Systems Engineer

Key Skills & Competencies

/n

/n

- Classical and up-to-date control theory, kinematics, dynamics, trajectory generation, and motion planning

/n

- Reinforcement learning, imitation learning, policy training, and sim-to-real transfer

/n

- ROS/ROS 2 development, sensor fusion, state estimation, LiDAR, camera, and IMU integration

/n

- Embedded/edge deployment experience, preferably with NVIDIA Jetson platforms

/n

- Robotics validation practices including calibration, sensor placement, ground-truth verification, and safety testing

/n

- Cross-functional collaboration with Physical AI Architects, Leads, Engineers, and hardware teams

/n

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Design and validate control algorithms and motion-planning stacks for target robot platforms

/n





- Support sim-to-real transfer of policies trained in Isaac Lab and tune for domain gaps

/n

- Integrate perception, planning, and control modules with hardware-in-the-loop test rigs

/n

- Validate AMR fleet, robotic-cell, and safety use cases against applicable blueprint patterns

/n

- Collaborate on Jetson-based edge deployment and onboard inference optimization

/n

- Contribute to test protocols, safety validation documentation, and field trial support

/n

- NVIDIA Isaac Lab for reinforcement/imitation learning workflows

/n

- NVIDIA cu Motion for accelerated motion planning

/n

- NVIDIA Jetson platform for edge/embedded inference

/n

- NVIDIA Metropolis/VSS for safety and monitoring use cases
