Position: DGM – Finance

Industry: Dairy / FMCG / Food Processing / Manufacturing

Location: Thrissur, Kerala

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and strategic finance professional to lead the Finance function and support the organization’s financial growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial management, working capital, costing, taxation, treasury, statutory compliance, and financial planning, preferably within the dairy, FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing sector.

Educational Qualifications

Mandatory – Any One:

Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI qualified candidates will be preferred.

Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) – Candidates with strong knowledge of costing and inventory management will be preferred.

Full-time MBA in Finance from IIMs or other reputed leading business schools.

Additional Qualifications – Preferred:

B.Com / M.Com

CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)

CS (Company Secretary)

Experience

- 12–15 years of overall experience in Finance.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in positions such as GM – Finance, DGM – Finance, VP – Finance, or equivalent senior finance roles.
- Experience in Dairy, FMCG, Food Processing, or Manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Effectively manage working capital, liquidity, and cash flows.
- Ensure adequate availability of funds for day-to-day procurement, production, distribution, and other operational requirements.
- Optimize receivables, payables, inventory, and cash conversion cycles.

2. Costing & Profitability Management

- Develop and implement effective cost-control strategies.
- Monitor procurement, packaging, cold-chain logistics, distribution, and operational costs.




- Conduct cost and margin analysis to improve overall profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure proper financial controls, accounting practices, and audit compliance.

4. Banking & Treasury Management

- Manage banking relationships and financial institutions.
- Evaluate and arrange appropriate funding for business operations and expansion.
- Support the organization in securing competitive financing and optimizing interest costs.
- Monitor treasury operations and fund utilization.

5. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and management reports.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights to management.
- Monitor key financial indicators and support business decision-making.

6. ERP & Finance Systems

- Ensure effective utilization of ERP and financial management systems.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Drive improvements in financial reporting, controls, automation, and data accuracy.

Pay: ₹720,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
