ETL Testing Trainer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Testing Trainer to deliver practical, project-oriented training to students and working professionals. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in ETL testing, data warehouse testing, SQL, and data validation, with the ability to explain concepts using real-time project scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct ETL Testing training sessions for beginners and experienced professionals.
- Develop structured lesson plans, presentations, hands-on exercises, and project assignments.
- Explain end-to-end ETL and Data Warehouse testing processes.
- Cover key topics including:
- ETL Testing Fundamentals
- Data Warehouse Concepts
- ETL Architecture and Data Flow
- Source-to-Target Mapping
- Data Validation and Reconciliation
- Source and Target Data Testing
- Transformation Testing
- Data Completeness and Accuracy Testing
- Data Quality Testing
- Duplicate and Null Data Validation
- Incremental Load and Full Load Testing
- SCD (Slowly Changing Dimensions) Testing
- Fact and Dimension Table Testing
- ETL Workflow and Job Testing
- Error Handling and Exception Testing
- Performance and Load Testing
- Regression Testing
- Backend/Data Validation Testing
- Defect Management and Reporting
- Provide hands-on SQL exercises for data validation and reconciliation.
- Demonstrate real-time ETL testing scenarios and project workflows.
- Train learners on creating test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Explain defect lifecycle and testing documentation.
- Guide learners through practical ETL testing projects.
- Provide assignments, assessments,



and mock interview preparation.
- Evaluate learner progress and provide technical feedback.

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Prior experience as an ETL Tester, Data Warehouse Tester, QA Engineer, Trainer, or Consultant.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Good understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, databases, and data validation.
- Experience with source-to-target validation and data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of test case design, defect management, and regression testing.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent is preferred.
- Good understanding of dimensional modeling, fact tables, dimension tables, and SCD concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Real-time project experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud, Talend, SSIS, or similar ETL tools.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake testing.
- Knowledge of automation tools and scripting is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Experience training working professionals and corporate teams is an advantage.

Pay: ₹9,371.83 - ₹39,771.72 per month
