We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Technician to join our Nephrology team.

Job Summary

The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining dialysis equipment, preparing patients for hemodialysis, assisting nephrologists and nursing staff, and ensuring safe, effective dialysis treatment in accordance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and operate hemodialysis machines, RO water systems, and related equipment.
- Prepare dialysis stations, dialyzers, bloodlines, and consumables before each treatment.
- Assess and record patients' vital signs before, during, and after dialysis.
- Assist in initiating, monitoring, and terminating dialysis procedures under established clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients throughout dialysis and promptly report any complications or adverse reactions to the treating physician and nursing team.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection prevention practices.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Perform routine cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of dialysis machines and equipment.




- Monitor water quality and follow RO plant maintenance protocols.
- Maintain accurate dialysis treatment records and documentation.
- Ensure adequate inventory of dialysis consumables and report shortages.
- Coordinate effectively with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, audits, and departmental training.

Eligibility Criteria

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Dialysis Technology from a recognized institution.
- Relevant clinical experience in a hospital dialysis unit preferred.
- Freshers with appropriate qualification and clinical training may also apply.
- Knowledge of hemodialysis procedures, dialysis equipment, and infection control practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate attitude towards patients with chronic kidney disease.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends, as required.
