We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Bengaluru. The technician will provide hands-on support to production by troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
The role involves working closely with the Manufacturing and Engineering teams on equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical support to production for manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize production downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues proactively.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedules and company standards.
- Execute equipment repairs, adjustments, and maintenance activities accurately and safely.
- Maintain proper records of equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and performance.
- Analyze equipment performance and repair history and support engineers in developing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installation, and validation activities.
- Work with engineers and production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Prepare maintenance procedures, reports, and relevant documentation.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Complete all assigned training within the required timelines.
