Key Responsibilities :
· Plant HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR activities at the plant and ensure employee-related matters are handled efficiently at the shop-floor level.
· Workforce Sourcing & Mobilisation: Source and mobilise blue-collar employees according to plant manpower requirements through multiple recruitment channels.
· Local Recruitment Network: Build and maintain relationships with local contractors, ITIs, referral sources and community contacts around Vapi to support timely manpower availability.
· Joining & Onboarding: Manage joining formalities, employee documentation, induction, safety orientation and required confidentiality acknowledgements for on-roll and contract employees.
· Induction & Training: Conduct employee induction and ensure current joiners understand workplace expectations, safety requirements and applicable plant procedures.
· Contract Labour Management: Manage contractor-related HR activities, maintain contractor records and ensure manpower deployment is properly documented.
· Contract Labour Compliance: Maintain contractor licences and compliance documents, gate registers and daily headcount reconciliation. Verify that statutory obligations are being followed in practice.
· Attendance Management: Maintain accurate attendance records and coordinate with relevant teams for timely and accurate payroll inputs.
· Payroll Coordination: Collect and verify payroll inputs, reconcile attendance, coordinate salary processing and verify contractor wage payments.
· Employee Documentation: Maintain personnel files, employee records, statutory registers and other HR documentation in an organised and audit-ready manner.
· Statutory Compliance:
Coordinate with the statutory consultant regarding registrations, returns and statutory registers, and ensure required records are available and updated at the plant.
· Employee Engagement: Handle shop-floor communication, employee welfare activities and engagement initiatives to support employee satisfaction and reduce early exits.
· Grievance Handling: Act as an approachable point of contact for employees and address workplace concerns and grievances in a fair and structured manner.
· Non-Performance Management: Identify early signs of non-performance or attendance issues, document concerns with appropriate evidence and follow the required warning and improvement process.
· Industrial Relations: Support day-to-day industrial relations activities and maintain constructive communication with workmen, supervisors and contractors.
· Labour Law Compliance: Maintain practical working knowledge of applicable labour requirements and identify situations where specialist or statutory support is required.
· Local Labour Market Monitoring: Maintain an understanding of local workforce availability, seasonal labour patterns, employee movement and factors affecting retention in the Vapi region.
· Market Salary Benchmarking: Maintain awareness of wage and salary levels across the Vapi, Sarigam and Silvassa belt and highlight significant deviations before offers are finalised.
· Employee Welfare: Coordinate plant welfare requirements such as transport, canteen and accommodation and support initiatives that improve employee retention.
· HR Records & Audit Readiness: Ensure employee and statutory records remain complete, accurate and readily available for internal or external review.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
