Opening For Senior Lab Technician

Qualification: B.Sc(MLT)/B.Sc/DMLT

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Salary: 15k to 25k

Location: Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations as per approved SOPs.
- Receive, identify, label and process patient specimens correctly.
- Ensure proper sample collection, transportation, storage and rejection procedures.
- Operate laboratory instruments and equipment according to manufacturer instructions and SOPs.
- Monitor instrument performance and report abnormalities immediately.
- Ensure timely processing and reporting of test results.
- Handle emergency and priority samples appropriately.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical problems and escalate unresolved issues.
- Follow laboratory quality procedures and approved SOPs at all times.
- Perform and document Internal Quality Control (IQC).




- Participate in External Quality Assessment (EQA)/Proficiency Testing activities where applicable.
- Identify non-conformities and report them to the concerned authority.
- Participate in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain quality records, worksheets, logs and checklists.
- Support laboratory activities related to NABL requirements, where applicable.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and registers.
- Complete worksheets, equipment logs, temperature logs and QC records.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and technical activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Report unusual findings, critical values and technical issues to the authorized person.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
