Key Responsibilities1. Supply Chain Planning

- Develop and implement effective end-to-end supply chain strategies.
- Prepare demand and supply plans based on sales forecasts, orders, inventory levels, and business requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, finished goods, and critical components.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.

2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely purchasing of materials and products.
- Monitor vendor performance, pricing, quality, lead time, and delivery commitments.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable payment/delivery terms.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key suppliers.
- Identify alternate suppliers to reduce supply risks.

3. Inventory Management

- Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and locations.
- Establish appropriate minimum, maximum, and reorder levels.
- Minimize excess inventory, stock-outs, dead stock, and inventory holding costs.
- Coordinate regular stock verification and reconciliation.
- Analyze slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.

4. Warehouse & Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams for smooth inbound and outbound movement.
- Ensure timely movement of products from suppliers to warehouses and warehouses to customers.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and delivery timelines.
- Optimize transportation and logistics costs.
- Resolve issues related to delayed, damaged, short, or incorrect shipments.

5. Order Fulfillment

- Coordinate with Sales and Order Management teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Track orders from confirmation through production/procurement, warehouse processing, dispatch, and delivery.
- Identify bottlenecks affecting order fulfillment and take corrective action.




- Ensure customer delivery commitments are supported by realistic supply plans.

6. Production Coordination

- Coordinate with Production teams regarding material availability and production requirements.
- Ensure production schedules are aligned with demand and customer orders.
- Identify material shortages or production constraints and escalate them proactively.
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Order Management teams to avoid delays.

7. Cost Optimization

- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement, inventory, warehousing, transportation, and logistics costs.
- Monitor supply chain expenses against budgets.
- Improve operational efficiency without compromising product quality or customer service.
- Analyze logistics routes and transportation utilization to control costs.

8. Data Analysis & MIS

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain reports.
- Monitor key metrics such as inventory turnover, stock availability, purchase lead time, order fulfillment, delivery performance, and logistics costs.
- Use Excel/ERP systems to analyze supply chain data and identify trends.
- Present supply chain performance and improvement plans to management.

9. Team Management

- Lead and manage the Supply Chain team.
- Set clear responsibilities, targets, and KPIs for team members.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Train and develop team members to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure coordination between Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Production, Sales, Finance, and Order Management.

10. Process & SOP Improvement

- Develop and implement supply chain SOPs and control mechanisms.
- Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Improve order-to-delivery timelines and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation and process compliance.
