Job Title

Diploma Metrology Technician

We are looking for Diploma-qualified candidates in Metrology / Mechanical Engineering for a Metrology role in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform dimensional measurements of components using precision measuring instruments.
- Carry out accurate measurements as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate and handle Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and Dial Gauge.
- Perform measurements using appropriate metrology equipment.
- Record and maintain measurement data and reports.
- Support calibration and verification of measuring instruments.
- Check the accuracy and condition of measuring equipment.
- Identify measurement deviations and communicate findings to the concerned team.
- Follow standard measurement procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Required Qualification

- Diploma in Metrology preferred.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering can also be considered.




- Knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of GD&T; is an advantage.
- CMM knowledge/experience is an advantage.
