-Identify and develop biomass suppliers, farmers, aggregators and traders within the plant's sourcing radius.
-Procure raw materials such as paddy straw, mustard residue, sawdust, cotton stalk, maize residue, rice husk and other agro residues.
-Negotiate purchase rates, transportation charges and commercial terms.
-Maintain a database of suppliers and available biomass by village/district.Plan daily/weekly raw material requirement based on plant production capacity.Coordinate loading, transportation and unloading of biomass at the plant.
-Monitor vehicle placement, dispatch and delivery schedules.Check incoming material for moisture, contamination, foreign material and approximate quality.
-Maintain daily records of purchase quantity, supplier, rate, freight, moisture and stock.
-Develop direct procurement channels from farmers to reduce dependence on intermediaries.
-Monitor raw material stock and ensure sufficient inventory for uninterrupted plant operation.
-Coordinate with production and quality teams regarding raw-material suitability.
-Prepare daily/weekly procurement and stock reports.Develop alternate suppliers to avoid supply disruptions.
-Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, weighment slips, bills and transport documents.
