- Driving & Navigation: Drive heavy commercial trucks over long distances or specified routes using GPS systems and maps while obeying all traffic laws.
- Loading & Securing Cargo: Supervise or assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are safely strapped and balanced to prevent shifting during transit.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tires, brakes, fluid levels, and mechanical systems.
- Documentation & Logs: Maintain accurate driving logs, hours-of-service records, fuel receipts, and delivery confirmations.
- dents, delays, traffic hazards, or mechanical defects immediately to dispatchers or fleet managers.
- Basic Maintenance: Perform minor upkeep tasks, such as refueling, checking oil, and keeping the cabin and trailer clean
