Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to manage and maintain the company’s IT systems, hardware, network infrastructure, communication facilities, and security systems. The candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT and communication equipment.

Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSystem & Desktop Support

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers and laptops.
- Provide technical support for operating systems, applications, and user-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve system performance, software, and hardware problems.
- Perform system upgrades, component replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Configure and maintain user systems, software, and peripherals.

Hardware Support & Maintenance

- Troubleshoot and maintain computer hardware, including RAM, hard drives/SSDs, motherboards, SMPS, monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals.
- Upgrade hardware and systems based on organizational requirements.
- Maintain records of IT hardware, equipment, repairs, and replacements.
- Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for hardware repairs when required.

Network, LAN & Broadband

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN and network connectivity.
- Manage and troubleshoot broadband/internet connections.
- Troubleshoot routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and other network devices.
- Monitor network connectivity and ensure uninterrupted internet access.
- Coordinate with internet service providers for connectivity-related issues.

Data Server Management

- Handle and maintain data servers and server-related infrastructure.
- Monitor server performance, storage, and availability.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery when required.
- Manage server access and ensure proper data security.
- Troubleshoot basic server-related hardware and connectivity issues.

CCTV & Security Systems

- Install, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV systems and cameras.




- Ensure proper functioning of CCTV recording and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot camera, DVR/NVR, connectivity, and display-related issues.
- Coordinate with CCTV vendors/service providers for major repairs or upgrades.

Landline & Intercom Facility

- Maintain and troubleshoot landline telephone systems.
- Manage and maintain the company's intercom facility.
- Troubleshoot extensions, telephone lines, and communication equipment.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors for service and maintenance requirements.

Printer & Peripheral Maintenance

- Install, configure, and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot printer hardware, connectivity, driver, and printing issues.
- Manage printer consumables such as toner and cartridges.
- Coordinate with service providers for major printer repairs and maintenance.

Required Skills

- Strong troubleshooting skills in desktop, laptop, hardware, and software.
- Good knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, broadband, and network troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of data server management, backup, and storage.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, and IP cameras.
- Knowledge of landline and intercom systems.
- Positive knowledge of printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple IT support requirements efficiently.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, system administration, network support, or IT infrastructure.
- Experience in pharma, manufacturing, healthcare, or industrial environments will be an advantage.
